There is something indefinitely powerful about that which we cannot see. The effect of the unknown, a puppeteer for humanities self-perception. The unknown has birthed billions and killed a billion more; it has started empires and ended nations. The unknown is our dreams, our fears that which is to far away, too large, or too small for us to even begin to perceive. Sometimes we require relief from the unknown, there certainly “must” be something there, we cannot “just” be human, and things cannot just “be” the way they are. Sometimes, it is the fuel to our engines, the bolts to our machinery; for all of history many of us have trekked on into the unknown. Our eyes must discover, create, destroy, change, and even unite ourselves.
